VisitErie Experiential Gift Holiday Season Promotion

A growing trend in holiday gifting? Giving experiences rather than things. More and more, individuals and families are asking for experience-based gifts rather than tangible items, as they tend to be more meaningful and have a more lasting impact than a toy. This holiday season, VisitErie wants to give shoppers an easy, comprehensive list of Erie-based experiences to gift to their loved ones, and plans to run an extensive campaign both in and out of Erie County to promote it.

We’re asking VisitErie Partners to provide a special offer that we can promote in this campaign. It could be a class, a stay and play package, a membership, ticket packages for families or couples, special event packages… get creative!

• There is no requirement for businesses to buy in or partner with one another, but the “gift” that you offer should be something special that will give its recipient a reason to visit Erie. The gift should be something created especially for this promotion, whether it’s a gift card or membership offered at a discount, or a package, class or service that is not offered year round. • All gifts should be valid January 1, 2023 for use during a pre-set period of time: either three months (expiring March 31, 2023), six months (expiring June 30, 2023) or a year (expiring December 31, 2023).
