The most cherished memories are those best captured within the photographs we take. Choosing the right backdrop is equally important and fortunately, the Erie region offers many locations ensuring that every snapshot is picture-perfect.

Presque Isle State Park presents a wealth of photo opportunities and Sunset Point, also called Kite Beach, hits the photo jackpot. Because the beach is not a designated swimming area, it’s an ideal space for kite enthusiasts to spread out and soar their magnificent kites and for sunset chasers to get an unobstructed view of Erie’s world-class sunsets. Sunset Point is located between Beaches 9 and 10.

The ERIE sign at Bayview Park, with its bright white letters and whimsical design, is fast becoming a must-stop spot to take a photo. The impressive 10-foot wide, 5-foot high sign is on the west end of the park, on the bluffs overlooking beautiful Presque Isle Bay.
